Toronto finally broke through on the power play early in the third period, with Sophie Gauld atoning for her earlier penalty by burying a feed from Sophia Liu and Jaelyn Mundy to cut the deficit to 2-1. The goal injected life into the Aeros' attack, but the Barracudas' defense and the stellar play of Riley Manna held firm under pressure. With just over three minutes remaining, Addison Butler provided the crucial insurance marker for Burlington, sealing the 3-1 victory. Manna was the undisputed star, stopping 21 of 22 shots for the win, while the Barracudas' offense was led by the multi-point efforts of Aubrey Biase and the timely scoring of Mackenzie Yuile and Addison Butler.
