The Etobicoke Dolphins unleashed a relentless offensive onslaught from the opening faceoff, cruising to a commanding 10-0 victory over the Ridley Tigers in OWHL - U22 Elite action. The Dolphins established their dominance early, with Sydney Bowness opening the scoring just over six minutes into the first period. The pressure never relented as Adrianna Milani netted the eventual game-winner, followed by a goal from Megan Mossey, giving the visitors a formidable 3-0 lead after the first frame. The Tigers, hampered by three first-period penalties for Holding, Head Contact, and Hooking, struggled to generate any sustained attack against a stifling Etobicoke defense.
The second period saw the Dolphins continue to pour it on. Skylar Ruschpler scored twice, with her second goal coming on a power play following a Tigers penalty for Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Haley Box added another even-strength marker to extend the lead to 6-0. While the Tigers' goaltender Jennifer Murphy faced a barrage of shots, the Dolphins' Emeline Grennan was perfect at the other end of the ice, turning aside all 16 shots she faced to secure the shutout. The disciplined Dolphins only took one minor penalty in the middle frame for Interference, which their penalty kill unit handled with ease.
Any hope of a Ridley comeback was extinguished in the third period as Etobicoke added four more goals in a span of just over sixteen minutes. Milani and Mossey each scored their second of the night, with Mossey finishing with an impressive four-point performance (2 goals, 2 assists). Grace Van Volsen also found the back of the net, and Sydney Bowness capped the scoring with her second of the game. The Dolphins' offense was a well-oiled machine, with Madeline McCullough, Haley Box, Spencer Vaccari, and Rachel Piggott all contributing multiple assists in a comprehensive team victory that showcased their depth and firepower.
